- Smith’s Predictor (Ovation DCS)
Smith’s Predictor control macro (reusable control structure) was developed in order to have a full control over structure and parameters of Smith’s Predictor. It was developed in Ovation DCS SW (Emerson) and it allows usage of predictor in cases that we control systems with a long dead time. It is modelled by using the 3rd order linear model.
- Trip FIFO Block (Ovation DCS)
Trip FIFO Block control macro (reusable control structure) was developed in order to have a functionality of trip that is caused by several causes. Trip is generated if any cause is active and the fist cause is stored. There HMI to control this structure which enables user to reset the trip and observer the first cause of trip. It was developed in Ovation DCS SW (Emerson).
